Review Text

  • By V. Alan White on October 31, 2014

I will simply say that there is no scholar who is better equipped to handle the empirical and conceptual demands of questions about free will and responsibility than Neil Levy. His writing is crystal clear, with reasoning of course on par with that, and has a subtle sense of humor that makes reading him an absolute delight. Underrated genius only rivaled by Manuel Vargas' Building Better Beings.

  • By Ian Murray on November 15, 2016

Our vocabularies for cognition and causation must change. Free will will go the way of aether and phlogiston. Why so many tie themselves up in semantic spaghetti to avoid this is as sad as listening to climate denialists.
