Just took a class on the Presidents and was looking to learn just a little more and this did the trick.

Macey Hershey, the five-year-old presidential trivia genius will not be the only one in the room with interesting facts about U.S. Presidents; you can too! Orville V. Webster presents excellent information in bite-sized easy to process chunks, which will make you a presidential scholar in one hundred twenty-eight pages.Orville organizes the resource with a simple format, by noting the president's name, chronological order (number and years), nickname or motto, and finally the birth and death date. If you are up for the challenge to memorize facts, "The Book of Presidents" would make this feat a breeze with these few starting points. Also, each president's biography contains intriguing facts that will serve as excellent conversation pieces. For instance, did you know. . .Washington lost more battles than he won?Grant completed his biography four days before his death?Abigail Adams and Barbara Bush were the only two first ladies that were the spouses and mothers of presidents?Thomas Jefferson and John Adams died within hours of each other on the fourth of July in 1826?These are just a few of the many fascinating anecdotes presented in this book.Although the book stops at The Commander in Chief, Bill Clinton, this is an incredible source of information that deserves attention. Moreover, it is an exceptional tool to introduce the reader to valuable snippets about The Presidents of The United States. I give the book five stars; it is a book that should be on any well-stocked bookshelf.
