Broadway is easy. Crossing an eccentric billionaire is what's hard. Jeffrey Rothstein discovers this in the dark comedy The Queen and I, about a Broadway playwright who makes one bad decision and then has his life forever changed in the most supernatural way. With the help of the ghost of a 1920s drag queen, Jeffrey sets out to write the next big Broadway hit, while unknowingly being hunted by a sadistic madman with musical aspirations of his own.

Filled with dark humor-- and, at times, just plain darkness-- "The Queen and I" is a haunting novel of exceptional craft. Unique, and wholly engrossing, it is one of those terrific books you can't put down-- and want to read all-over-again when it's over.

this is book is so boring. Please don't waste your time on this dribble. Go paint a house, it will be more fun than reading this book !

I thought that this was am exceptionally well thought out and provocative tale masterfully spun by this Indie Author and I never in a million years saw the ending coming. I'm a fan.

A bit more serious than his other work (I read Are You Kosher? first), but still a well-written novel with plenty of humor and intrigue. Andresen has an easy, flowing prose that's a joy to devour.
